My Temple

I have decided to get my ear pierced. I want to, i think it looks cool, and i really think that it would at least make me feel cool regardless of what other people think of it.

I think that i have decided on a cartilage piercing and i am just going to want a ring not a stud.

Cartilage seems better to me not only because it looks cooler but also because it is harder to see the hole when i take it out. if i ever need to do so....

I asked my best friend to go with me but at this time it seems as though i might just go on my own. Thats what you get for growing up. you have to live your own life and do things on your own. Like me insisting to move myself into college

This is what the inside of a Papaya looks like just in case you are curious

Today my only breakfast was a fruit smoothie, and my only lunch was also a fruit smoothie. Since i bought all those fruits i just couldn't help myself. I use the soy milk and for lunch i mixed in a naked fruit drink.

The whole time i have lived here i have marveled at the fact that there are never any bugs of any kind in my room. I don't always clean my dishes right away and i have food in my room which my parents have always said not to do, and still no bugs. all of this went through my head when i found a spider in my room today. It wasn't a big one and wasn't brightly colored but it was a bug in my room. I left it alone and just took a picture. I have a feeling it is from mexico(papaya) or where ever the bananas and the pineapple came from.

My hands hurt pretty bad today and i accidently put hand sanitizer on them and it killed.

I forgot to do my spanish homework.

I drove to Calculus today and on my way i opened my sunroof. It was great absolutly magical. It opened like it had never closed. My car was actually hot enough that i had needed to open the sunroof.

1-27-11

Today was an absolutly beautiful. I know it is still midwinter but i am begining to have hope that maybe the winter is ending early. The chances of this being true are very small but it keeps me going.

Today i read a short story by margaret atwood for english class. It was a very interesting piece because there was no plot but rather several possible plots; each one dealing with love and relationship but in each story ever one the characters all die. In some of the plots the characters are perfect and nice, in others thay are cheating and rebellious, or they are weak and downtrodden, but they all die.

Practice was pretty easy. Just a warm up, bar drill,and med throw. In the bar workout i got a big blister that ripped off the palm of each of my hands. It killed so bad. I was not capable of finishing the workout dispite the blisters. I am much weaker than the rest of the of the team and i am just not strong enough. The Blisters don't look too bad here but they keep getting worse and with the dry air they are cracking and it hurts to hold the pole.

I went to walmart because sometimes i just need to shop. Just going and looking at everything that is out there that i may one day be able to have is fun. I went a little crazy and spent a little more than i would. I bought: a mug(black), a pineapple, bananas, a papaya(4 and a half freaking dollars), bread, soymilk, and v8 splash.

Competing Today

I am competeing today in Aimes Iowa. The track is more than 200 meters like 300 or something like that. Weird never seen that before, though i am not going to even run on it. Today i am polevaulting and hurdling i have two bad blisters on my hands that i hope won't affect me that much. i want a PR in pole vault and at least 8.9 in hurdles

So Its Been A While

I don't really know what to say but i have decided that blogging was definitely made me feel happier. Since the last blog i made i have started college. It has had its ups and downs but for the most part its been good. In track i focused on The multi event but after we returned from christmas vacation i was moved on to the vault and hurdle squad instead. First Semester i took Spanish 201, English 101, Medical Terminology, and Sociology 101. My GPA was a 4.0 which i am happy with and would really like to continue next semester. This semester i am taking chem 114, Span 202, Engl 210, Calc 123, and Psych 101. i havn't taken chem in 3 years since i took AP chem in high school and i am kind of struggling with coming in halfway through the semester.

I originally had a room mate but he moved in with his friends so now i have had the room to myself since halfway through first semester. I like it but there is no longer any motivation for me to keep my room clean. My room is pretty cool though. I have a tv(tube) hooked up to surround sound and my computer which is also hooked up to the surround sound and my hard drive which is on my bookshelf. I have a wireless keyboard and mouse so i can be laying on the top bunk with the computer screen on the TV and surf the internet, do homework, listen to music/ watch movies off the hard drive, or watch movies off Netflix which i got myself for christmas.

I really hate the winter and this has been a hard one on me but i really think that it is almost over. It is sooo much colder here than in NY. And on top of that it is always windy, so the snow really drifts up.The days are getting longer and the last 2 days have been above freezing. All of this has prompted me to do a lot of daydreaming about my trips to california and spain. And spring in general. i reeeallly want to be able to do homework outside on lush green grass. Oh well.

Well this was fun. Ill catch up more tm.
